In the VM, the network adaptor should be vmnet (no). The vmnet should be in the custom mode without dhcp and unchecking the host option. We have to assign the static IP to the VM.
In the EVE-NG , the device interface should be connected to the cloud with the same number as the Vmnet. Example is if the VM is having vmnet1, then the eve-ng should be cloud1,as shown below.
vmnet1=cloud1
vmnet2 = cloud2
vmnet3=cloud3 ..etc
